The one thing that you see the most of in this documentary is love...As tragic as this story is the emotions of the parents, relatives, and friends shines from start to finish..... The complete incompetence of all the so called law officials is horrifying...A definite tearjerker 5/5

When I first put this on, not really knowing the full context, I watched for about 1/2 hour and turned it off. At that time I did not understand why it was considered one of the most heartbreaking Docu's, if not the most heartbreaking. I figured I would give it another chance eventually...Thank god I did. After that first 1/2 hour, which would be important, I ended of watching what I consider the best docu I have ever seen & I've seen many. My mind was blown. My heart was broken, and my eyes were red. You have to see this to believe it & the first time around, give it that chance 5/5 10/10

An amazing doc,now one of my favs. The strength in Mr.& Mrs.Bagby is amazing.Moved to tears a few times watching this.I have recommended it to everyone,it is a must see.No rating can do justice towards the whole production of the spirit of this film or in which it was made.❤

I cannot believe the things his family were put through. So incredibly sad. Every one who had a hand in letting her go free I hope it haunts them for the rest of their lives. The entire movie was so sad but when I realized where this story was going and how it would end.. it broke me. I enjoyed getting to know how much of an amazing man he was.

I watched the complimentary on Dateline or one of those shows. Throughout the program they interviewed Kurt Kuenne regarding the documentary he was filming. So was really great to have the opportunity to see it. Very moving cried through most of it. Amazing how many lives both of them touched Some parts hard to watch being a Canadian it seemed more personal that we allowed this to happen.

Unbelievable how strong the parents are...I wish them all the best and hope that they continue fighting for a change...but why is the judge not taking responsibility??

I cried, i cried and i cried. I can't believe how the justice system failed these two wonderful people! People who haven't seen this yet i suggest you don't read further as it will probably tell you a lot of things that happened already. If they had just done their JOB that little boy would've been alive and would've been 12 years old right now! How could they not have looked further into Shirley, like Kurt said in the documentary: she had attempted to commit suicide on her ex boyfriend's doorstep and threatened to kill him, she had 8 (if i remember correctly) restraining orders against her, and so on and so on.. she killed Andrew (which you couldn't deny, c'mon even the judge and all the other should've seen that!!) The recorded phone calls from David and Kate to Shirley just prove how mentally unstable she was and definitely not fit to raise that little boy! Anyways those two people amazed me, i don't think a lot of people would do all that and be around that woman so much knowing she killed their son and they did that all for their grandson, and then he got taken away from them as well because of the horrible woman! It just broke my heart over and over again. I surely hope that Shirley burns in hell! I just can't help feeling furious about this, if you read this and you haven't watched it yet. Stop whatever you're doing and watch it now, it may be heartbreaking, it may make you cry like a baby but it's a great documentary and you'll be glad you watched it and learned about this! 5*
